On Wednesday, May 13th, we will be hosting an extra special Fiesta Fundraiser at our Rochester location in support of our beloved team member, Sherry, and her daughter, Charlotte.
Sherry has been a part of the Cinco’s family since the opening of our Rochester location in 2024. Known for her warmth, energy, and genuine connection with guests, she has built lasting relationships with coworkers and customers alike. As she prepares to step away from work to support her daughter through an incredibly challenging time, we want to send her off surrounded by the same love and positive energy she has given to so many.
Her daughter, Charlotte, is a 15-year-old honors student at Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH. She was recently diagnosed with GATA2 deficiency, a rare genetic disorder that severely impacts the immune system and has led to bone marrow failure. Without treatment, the condition carries a high risk of progressing into Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
After extensive testing and care across multiple hospitals, Charlotte’s medical team has determined that a bone marrow transplant is urgently needed. Fortunately, her older brother has been identified as a perfect match and will be her donor- a truly best-case scenario.
Following the transplant, Charlotte will spend several months hospitalized in Boston, and then an extended recovery period at home.
To support Sherry, Charlotte, and their family during this time, Cinco’s will donate 20% of all sales from the day’s event toward medical expenses and recovery costs and is committed to a minimum donation of $1,000.
