Cinco’s Donates to Gather

$5,000 to support food insecurity in the Seacoast

We are pleased to announce the success of our October fundraising campaign benefiting Gather, a nonprofit dedicated to ending food insecurity in the Seacoast region.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests, staff, and community partners, Cinco’s Cantina successfully raised $5,000 to provide essential meals and resources to local families in need. While the month-long fundraising event fell slightly short of the goal, Cinco’s made up the difference, ensuring the full target was met. Notably, $476 came directly from guest donations, highlighting our community’s commitment to giving back.

Throughout October, Cinco’s featured special menu items, including the San Jose Burrito, Cinnamon Apple Margarita, and The Gather Plate with a portion of proceeds from each dish supporting Gather’s mission. Additional fundraising highlights included the Guac Out Hunger Fiesta Fundraiser, online donation options, and a Give Back Gift Card Promotion, all of which contributed to the campaign’s success.

“Food insecurity touches more people in our communities than many realize,” said Erin Tellez, Business Manager, Cinco’s Cantina. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who dined, donated, and helped us meet our goal.”

“Supporting Gather aligns perfectly with what Cinco’s stands for: family, food, and giving back,” added Tellez. “We’re proud to know that our efforts will help ensure more neighbors have access to nourishing meals.”

Cinco’s Cantina was recently honored in the Seacoast Community Choice Awards, winning Best Mexican Food and earning a finalist spot in the Best Burrito/Taco category, further cementing its reputation as a local favorite for delicious Mexican cuisine. Cinco’s Cantina remains committed to supporting local causes through its Fiesta Fundraiser program and other community initiatives year-round.
