DESCRIPTION:Free Comic Book Day returns on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026\, in downtown Rochester. The event draws thousands each year and gives downtown shops a nice boost each spring. And\, Cinco’s returns as an exclusive comic book stop! \nWhat began as a small promotion by Ralph DiBernardo of Jetpack Comics & Games has grown into a citywide celebration. The day now includes multiple comic stops\, special deals at local businesses\, a costume contest\, Artist Alley at the Rochester Opera House\, and The Turtle Den at the Governor’s Inn. \n\nParticipants with a power-up wrist band will receive a FREE personal-sized cheese dip\, so be sure to stop in during the festivities to grab lunch and refuel while you’re out exploring and collecting every book available!
